Thank you for requesting time with an Advisor with the Coach and Advisor Network (CAN).
An Advisor provides short term support to a licensee who has submitted a completed Request Time with an Advisor Form and Agreement ("Participant") to address a client file-specific matter or substantive or procedural issue, to enhance competence in the professions.
It is expected that most Advisor Engagements will be resolved in a single 30-minute telephone call.
To be referred to an Advisor, please complete and submit this Request Time with an Advisor Form and Agreement ("Agreement"). You can expect to hear back from CAN about your request for an Advisor within two business days from the date of submission. All requests are subject to availability of volunteer coaches and advisors drawn from the professions. Urgent requests cannot be expedited and some requests may not be met depending on volunteer availability.
Any questions on this application relating to self-identification are entirely voluntary and are not required to process the documentation. CAN is committed to supporting diversity. Collecting this information can help CAN assess whether it is meeting its goal of supporting racialized, Indigenous, Francophone and equality-seeking groups of licensees. The information you enter will assist CAN in making a suitable referral where volunteer coaches and advisors are available.
Your records on file at the Law Society will not be updated with the information you provide on this Agreement. You may update your contact information through the Law Society Portal.
